While talking about fruit, I casually count the cards and change the front and back sides of the cards.
Show your opponent a card with a picture of a lemon on it, then place it face down on the table.
Next to it, arrange the alphabet cards on the table in the order L-E-M-O-N (lemon).

``Can you rearrange these five letters to represent other fruits?''

If the other person notices, ask them to rearrange them.
If you don't notice, the performer will switch places and explain, ``Swap the positions of L and M...and it's M-E-L-O-N (melon).''
Finish by having your opponent open their face-down card to show that the picture has changed to a melon.

This is an easy magic trick invented by Max Maven. Overseas it is called LEMONSTRATION, but in Japan the name has been simplified to LEMON.
